30r18 70% HRR - dialing down the intensity


After the row on Wednesday I felt pretty fatigued - it was a deceptive row - and took more out of me than I thought - yesterday I was aiming at a 1500m run but Hd'd at 750m and after that my energy levels plummeted - to the point I slept for 9 hours last night and still had problems getting up today (normally get between 5 and 6 hours)

 

So today I dialled it right back  - 30r18 @70% HRR and came out with a TE 2.1 and 38ml/kg EPOC - distance 8182m (1:50.0 pace) HR maxed at 148 (146 is my 70%) - actually feel like I have more energy now than earlier
